PURPOSE:To enable etching of the surface to be inspected in all positions and also to prevent corrosion liquid from being leaked from a liquid tank by fitting a flexible universal pipe provided with an injection port of corrosive liquid to the outer wall of the liquid tank and communicating it with the liquid tank. CONSTITUTION:The aperture part 1a of an etching equipment is opposed to a material 15 to be inspected and approached thereto and the aperture part 1a is attracted to the material 15 with a permanent magnet 13. A sealing member 11 is brought into contact with the face 15a to be inspected and simultaneously a liquid tank 1 is pressed on the material 15 and the aperture part 1a is made to an opened state. An injection port 7 for corrosive liquid provided to the end of a universal pipe 8 is position to the vertical direction in the side higher than the face 15a and corrosive liquid 2 is injected until it is sufficiently brought into contact with the face 15a. Since the universal pipe 8 has proper flexibility and stiffness, its position can be fixed and therefore corrosive liquid 22 does not flow out through the injection port 7. Etching can be performed in all positions of the member for inspecting the structure with this equipment.
