PURPOSE:To minimize a trace area to a required value and to search trace information of a data having an error quickly by comparing the data with an even code and an even frame for a predetermined stop condition and setting a trace end flag when they are coincident. CONSTITUTION:A trace area 10 consists of event areas having code numbers of, e.g., 1-M. When the even code and the trace data constituted as a form of occurrence time and frame data in each event area are coincident with contents of a trace condition set area 12, a trace end flag 13 is set. Thus, the event after the transmission event of the said frame is not traced. The trace information of a part having an error is obtained by setting a proper even to the trace end condition set area 12 in this way.
