PURPOSE:To reduce measuring time, by performing a specific computation before a liquid to be inspected attains a temperature balance to enable accurate calculation of the cycle and density of a vibration cell. CONSTITUTION:After the introduction of a liquid to be inspected to a vibration cell, a convergent vibration cycle T0 is calculated using a formula from a vibration cycle T at each time (t) before the vibration cycle of the vibration cell reaches a balance. This enables calculation of the cycle T0 until the liquid being inspected attains a temperature balance and the resulting value thereof coincides with an actually measured value when the liquid being inspected attains a temperature balance thereby allowing a reduction in the measuring time.
