PURPOSE:To improve climbing ability, traction force and the cornering characteristic, by widely controlling distribution ratio of torque of a front wheel to a rear wheel so as to enhance the slip limit characteristic of a tire. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that a torque distributing clutch 75 is engaged in a half clutch condition being placed in a slip condition, a front differential gear case 53 transmits its rotation directly to a differential carrier 55 of a front differential mechanism B through the torque distributing clutch 75 further to right and left side gears 68a, 68b from a differential pinion 56 respectively to right and left front wheel driving shafts 60a, 60b. Simultaneously with the above, the front differential gear case 53 transmits its rotation to a carrier 69 and a ring gear 70 in a planetary gear type center differential gear A and to a hypoid gear 63 and a driving pinion shaft 67 via a sun gear 68.
