PURPOSE:To make a pin rise and set properly according to a road state as well as to prevent slippage of a tire and damage to a road surface both from occurring by installing a pin hole in a tire ground plane, and pressing the pin retractably in this hole via 2 soft material. CONSTITUTION:A relatively small diametral pin hole 3 is bored in the specified position on a ground plane of a tire 1. And, the specified resin liquid is poured into a bottom part of the pin hole 3 and hardened, forming a soft material 4 little softer than the tire 1. Afterward, a spike (a) consisting of a pin 2 having a flange part 5 in the bottom part is pressed in the pin hole 3, and a tip of the pin 2 is attached to the tire 1 in the state that it is slightly projected out of a surface of the tire 1. With this constitution, in case of driving on a frozen road or the like, the pin 2 is projected out of the surface of the tire 1, thus a slip of the tire 1 is prevented by this pin 2. On the other hand, in case of driving on a dried pavement or the like, the pin 2 is retracted into the pin hole 3 against the soft material 4, whereby damage to the road surface and dusting due to the pin 2 are prevented from occurring.
