PURPOSE:To realize both application for a portable reproducing device and an on- vehicle reproducing device, by using a portable player independently as the portable reproducing device, and performing speaker reproduction as the on-vehicle reproducing device by placing the portable player on a supporting board and sliding the supporting board. CONSTITUTION:By taking out the portable player 5 from the supporting board 4 and inserting the plug 36 of a headphone 35 to a connector part 7, the portable player 5 can be used independently as a portable headphone player, and it is possible to listen to music, etc., with a headphone by reproducing an audio cassette 6 even outside a vehicle. Next, when the portable player 5 is used as an on-vehicle stereo player, the portable player 5 is inserted from an upside to the supporting board 4 protruded forward, and it is positioned by the bottom plane part 26 and the side plane part 27 of the supporting board 4, a stopper piece 28, and a sliding plate 31. By pressing the portable player 5 or the supporting board 4 in a direction of arrow head P against the pressing force of a spring 30, the player 5 is moved rearward integrally, and the terminal 16 of a cabinet 11 is brought into contact with a connector part 38 piercing through a through hole 39, then, reproduction can be performed by depressing an operating button 8.
