PURPOSE:To stabilize the condition of combustion and reduce its noise level by disposing secondary air holes is those areas in the annular plate of a stabilizer except raised slotted parts in the radial direction from the nozzle center. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer 14 is formed in front of a nozzle 11 by disposing secondary air holes 13 in the peripheral area of an annular plate 12 provided with raised slotted parts. Combustion air spirals and performs a primary flame holding by the plate 12 by means of air streams from an opening 18 in the plate and the air holes 13. Because the air holes 13 are not disposed in those area provided with raised slotted parts in the radial direction from the center of the nozzle 11, a negative pressure zone is formed between the air holes without being affected by the spiral flow caused by the raised slotted parts and performs a secondary flame holding. A third-stage flame holding is further performed by forming a negative pressure zone on the wall of the inner barrel by air streams from the inner barrel 15 and the opening 18. Because of the secondary flame holding, the flame is stabilized even if there are disturbances at an outlet 19, ensuring a good condition of combustion. Moreover, because the third-stage flame holding is so formed as to envelop the spiral of the primary flame holding, the noise level of the combustion is reduced.
