PURPOSE:To reduce energy loss, by providing a primary deflecting system which deflects an electron beam in the direction of the surface of melted liq. of metallic raw material and a secondary deflecting system which deflects again the reflected electron beam, which is reflected on the surface of the molten liq., in the direction of the surface of the molten liq. CONSTITUTION:The electron beam 7 emitted from an electron gun 6 is deflected in the direction of the surface 9 of the molten liq. in a crucible 4 for evaporation by magnetic field alpha which is formed between a couple of electromagnetic coil 20 provided at a coaxial position. The electron beam 7 projected on the surface 9 of the molten liq. heats the metallic raw material 3 with the possessing energy. On the other hand, the reflected electron beam 22, which is reflected on the surface 9, is deflected again in the direction of the surface 9 of the molten liq. by a deflecting force of magnetic field beta which is strengthened by the permanent magnet 21 provided on both edge of the crucible 4 for evaporation. The energy loss due to reflection of electron beam is reduced and then the efficiency of the system is drastically increased by using the above-mentioned device.
