PURPOSE:To facilitate the management and registration of program information by registering the program information on an optical disk from its inside periphery and registering corresponding retrieval information there from the outside periphery. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk on which an operating program of an information processor itself is stored is set to a floppy disk device 25. An optical disk utility program execution mode is selected and a program selecting picture is displayed on a display device 22. The program is written on the optical disk, which is set to an optical disk device 26, from the floppy disk under the control of a CPU 12 by the operation on a keyboard 21. At this time, the program information is written on the optical disk from its inside periphery and program management information is written there from the outside periphery. They are registered from the optical disk to a magnetic storage means.
