PURPOSE:To precisely stop an output shaft turnably mounted in mounted inside a casing by mounting a valve body which closes either of guide passages when the valve body is displaced at a specified angle, inside an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Flow passages 16 and 17 are formed inside an output shaft 11 and the wall part between notches 18 acts as a valve body 19, which closes either of four guide passages 20. Two direction change-over valves 21 are communicated with the guide passages 20 and controlled for the flow directions by turning the output shaft 11. Every time the output shaft 11 turns 90 deg., an appropriate guide passage 20 is closed by the valve body 19 and the rest guide passages 20 are communicated with the flow passages 16 and 17. The output shaft can be stopped precisely at a plurality of points.
