PURPOSE:To simply execute a water-proof performance test by generating wind and rain being similar to natural with and rain in which water has been mixed in a wind, by a blast from an air blasting port of an air blower and sprinkling from a sprinkling device being in the vicinity of the air blasting port. CONSTITUTION:On a specimen placing table 5 whose height can be adjusted, a specimen 6 is placed and fixed, thereafter, by an adjusting device 51, an air blasting port 21 is adjusted to test position of the specimen 6. Thereafter, a motor 13 of an air blasting device is started, and also, a valve 33 of a sprinkling device 3 is opened, and wind and rain are generated in the prescribed direction. A state of the wind and rain is adjusted to a prescribed condition by adjusting the speed of revolution of the motor 13, an opening of a damper 141 and the valve 33, etc. In such a way, by the condition of the adjusted wind and rain, the wind and rain are put to the specimen 6 for a prescribed time from the object direction, and by observing whether leaked water exists in its inside or the reverse side or not, a water-proof performance of the specimen 6 is tested.
