PURPOSE:To improve durability of an apparatus by providing retainers for rotatably holding rolling members and further providing said retainers with claw parts capable of elastically touching a mover and a stator. CONSTITUTION:A mover 1 for a linear pulse motor is accurately guided and supported along a stator 4 via rollers 2 and balls 3 being rolling members. Said rollers 2 are rotatably held two by two before and behind by each of retainers 5 arranged right and left. Also, said balls 3 are rotatably held two by two before and behind by each of right and left retainers 5. In this case, claw parts 12 capable of elastically touching the underside of said mover 1 and the top surface of said stator 4 are formed in said retainers 5. Thus, said claw parts 12 sweep the rolling contact surface of said mover and prevent dust and the like from entering as the mover 1 moves, to improve durability of an apparatus and to permit the mover to move stably and accurately.
