PURPOSE:To obtain the title admixture having superior bonding strength in mortar for an underlayer for tiles, brick or the like by blending coarsely crushed open cell type PVC foam with bundled short vinylon fibers and a pasting agent. CONSTITUTION:Continuous pore type PVC foam obtd. by foaming PVC resin by 20-40 times with gaseous CO2, a decomposable blowing agent or the like is coarsely crushed to 2-9mm diameter and 30-35l of the coarsely crushed PVC resin (A) having 0.06-0.08 apparent specific gravity are blended with 10-40g bundled short vinylon fibers (B) of 10-20mm length and 40-80g pasting agent (C) such as PVA-methylcellulose mixture or further blended with other compounding agents (D) for cement such as a water reducing agent, air entraininer, waterproofing agent, shrinkage controller, dispersant and curing accelerator as required.
