PURPOSE:To contrive making a valve lighter in weight by constituting it with the stem part formed by expanding the tip diameter of a pipe member and the head part formed into a bottomed cylindrical form tightly integrated. CONSTITUTION:A tip of a pipe member is diametrally expanded and formed into a bell-mouthed stem part 10. A bottomed short cylindrical head part 14 is formed with a heat resisting steel sheet by means of press work or the like. An expanded end 11a of the expanded diametral part 11 of the stem part 10 is fitted in this part 14, and a peripheral wall part 15 of the head part 14 is drawn up, thus it is tightly integrated. With this constitution, a valve can be formed hollow as a whole so that its weight is reducible.
