PURPOSE:To improve the color formability of cyan couplers and the fastness of the color image formed by the same by incorporating the specific cyan couplers into the above photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of the cyan dye forming couplers are incorporated into >=1 layers of the silver halide emulsion layers of the title photosensitive material. In formula, R' denotes 1-16C aralkyl; R<2> demotes H, c-16 alkyl; L denotes O, S, etc.; X denotes H, 1-24C alkyl, etc.; Y denotes benzene sulfonamide, N-phenyl sulfamoyl; (z) denotes H, elimination group; Ar denotes 6-24C aryl and partly includes some exceptions. The compd. with which R1 is C10R21; R2 and X are H; L is O; Y is the group of formula II; Z is the group of formula III; Ar is the group of formula IV, is usable as the coupler expressed by formula. |
