PURPOSE:To effectively protect a photographic lens by providing a locking member which makes the photographic lens collapsible in a camera body when photographing is not performed and closes a lens barrier in synchronism with the photographic lens only when said lens is made collapsible. CONSTITUTION:The title camera is provided with a locking pawl member 8 which has ratchet wheel 4d over a specified range on the same circumference with the optical axis of the photographic lens 18 as a center, is provided in the camera body so that it can turn and can get a locking position for fixing the photographic lens 18 on a focusing position by locking with the ratchet wheel 4d when the photographic lens 18 comes to the focusing position and a non-locking position for allowing the photographic lens 18 to move. Only when the photographic lens 18 attains the collapsible position, a locking pawl member 7 is guided to a position for releasing the locking of the locking member by the locking pawl member 8 so as to close the lens barrier 2. Thus, the photographic lens can be protected. |
