PURPOSE:To perform macroscopic photographing stably and satisfactorily by stopping move of a focusing lens driven with use of a driving means when photographing is performed after a focal point in a macroscopic area is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A video camera is such that automatic focusing is performed by controlling the position of the focusing lens 1c, which composes an image pickup lens 1, by means of a driving means/motor 10, and focusing in a macroscopic area is performed by adjusting the position of a view angle adjusting lens 1b different from the focusing lens 1c. When a focusing in the macroscopic area is performed by adjusting the position of the view angle adjusting lens 1b, move of the focusing lens 1c by means of the driving means 10 is stopped. Thus, a stable picture is taken without changing the angle of view, and power is prevented from being used wastefully. |
