<p>A mixture of metal salts of aromatic/aliphatic phosphorodithioic acids. The metal salts, a mixture of the aromatic/aliphatic phisophorodithioic acids contain an aliphatic group and an aromatic group, optionally (H) aliphtic groups, and optionnally (B) aromatic groups. The (B) aromatic component can be made utilizing phenol and/or mixtures of cresylic acids. The metal salts are oil-soluble and are useful as corrosion inhibitors and anti-wear agents, particularly in lubricating oil compositions.</p> |
