PURPOSE: To improve sensitivity by constituting a capillary flow cell along an optical path thereof of a capillary having two end parts bent nearly in a Z shape and a template having a center hole where a central part of the capillary is arranged. CONSTITUTION: A template 1 is a cylindrical disk having a central through hole 2. A circular recess of a size approximately half a diameter of the disk is formed at both end faces 3, 4 of the disk. In order to dispose a capillary 9 at the center of the hole 2 in an optimum state, a short pipe 10 is used as an insert. A central part 11 of the capillary 9 is arranged at a hole of the insert, and each of two end parts 12, 13 of the capillary 9 is bent, immediately after coming out of the insert, approximately 100 deg. in an opposite direction to the respective opposite end part, penetrating grooves 7, 8 to extend outside the cylindrical template 1. The capillary 9 is formed of fused silica coated with polyimide, and the central part 11 of the capillary 9 forms an optical path of the flow cell. |
