<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title ink which, when combined with a water-base finishing coat varnish, has excellent adaptability to coating to give excellent coating film properties by using a specified resin component and a specified diluent component in the title ink containing a pigment, a resin, and a diluent. CONSTITUTION:The title ink contains a pigment, a resin, and a diluent, wherein a hydrophilic fatty-acid-modified alkyd resin (e.g. a resin obtained from dehydrated castor oil fatty acids, diethylene glycol, trimethylolpropane, and phthalic anhydride) and/or an oil-free polyester resin (e.g. a resin obtained from diethylene glycol, trimethylolpropane, benzoic acid, isophthalic acid, and trimellitic anhydride) is used as the resin component and which contains a compound of the formula (wherein (n) is 2 to 3; X and Y are each 3 to 20) as the diluent component in an amount of 3-50wt.% based on the ink.</p> |
