发明名称 FOCUSING POINT DETECTION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the circuit scale and enable fast processing by selecting plural photoelectric conversion signals, block by block, by a V shift register among photoelectric conversion signals which are outputted by photoelectric converting elements and reading photoelectric conversion signals out by an H shift register in the units of picture element. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric converting means 202 is equipped with the photoelectric converting elements which outputs the photoelectric conversion signals in the unit of picture element, the V shift register 503 which selects the photoelectric conversion signals, block by block, and the H shift register 504 which reads the photoelectric conversion signals in the unit of picture element. A block where video signals, i.e. the outputs of the photoelectric converting elements are extracted is selected by the V shift register 503 first and the video signals in the selected block are read out by using the H shift register. Consequently, the circuit scale can be made small and video signals which are not in an area used for focusing point detection need not be swept away, so the fast processing becomes possible.
