A massage cushion, and for feet in particular, excites reflex zones, particularly those on the feet; the cushion is made of a mass of freely moving particles inside a flexible covering which is pref. made of PVC. The cushion (10) is pref. 3-5 cm thick (A) and consists of particles (16) free from any binder and rounded in shape. They can be e.g. wood, plastics, glass, ceramics or similar but pref. pebbles of dia. 2-65 mm and especially 2-8, 8-16, 16-32, or 32-65mm. These particles are contained in between two cover sheets (12, 13) which are bonded together along their edges. They (12, 13) are made of flexible e.g. fabric, leather or plastics but PVC is pref., because it is simple to weld together along the edges. The comfort of the cushion is enhanced by including fine e.g. sand in the filling (15); for wt. reasons however, sawdust is pref. ADVANTAGE - The prod. eliminates the need for prolonged habituation times before use. It has highly therapeutic effects. (Dwg.1/1)
