PURPOSE:To construct a low inserting force connector of small sized and for high frequency, with which high reliability electric contacting is generated with a low contacting resistance. CONSTITUTION:A female connector 10 is equipped with spreading means 22, 23, which have several pairs of elastic contacting pieces 13, 14 oppositely positioned inside housings 11, 12, have contacting pieces 13, 14 in normally closed state between the contacting pieces 13, 14, and spread these contacting pieces in normally closed condition between the contacting pieces 13, 14. A male connector 30 is inserted between the spreading contacting pieces, and the spread of the contacting pieces is released. The wiping motion of contacting pieces is made by partial removal as predetermined of the two connector 10, 30 by slide means 22, 25, 26 in the condition that the contacting pieces 13, 14, 32, 33 of the two connectors 10, 30 are in contacting state. The amount of wiping is constant, depending upon the thickness of a cam member 26. |
