PURPOSE:To prevent a shutter chance from being lost in an autofocusing camera where the prediction of a moving body and the range-finding of a wide area are performed. CONSTITUTION:The range-finding is executed to plural range-finding areas set in the center of and around a photographic image plane, and whether or not an object occupies the image plane at a specified rate or more based on range-finding information obtained from a range-finding area is judged. Based on the judged result, the actions of a moving body predicting means and/or a wide area range-finding means are controlled. |
