A secondary guidance path search section 18 refers the general road data in the map data and searches the optimum secondary guidance path connecting the departure point and the first en-route point at the time of departure, and an intersection guide controller 21 performs the preset path guidance according to the secondary guidance path after traveling is started. The secondary guidance path search section 18 refers the general road data, searches the optimum secondary guidance path connecting the en-route points along the primary guidance path and connecting the final en-route point and the destination, and performs the preset path guidance according to the secondary guidance path searched by the intersection guide controller 21 at the preset time before passing the en-route points on the primary guidance path during traveling.
