<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the line cost and to attain the incoming call terminal selection in the ISDN packet exchange mode by multiplexing a virtual call on each incoming call side node. CONSTITUTION:A caller sets a subscriber line number of a incoming call party to an incoming call party address of a call request packet 18 and sets a node identifier to an incoming call party address extension facility and sends the resulting packet. The incoming call party communication processing system extracts a node identifier of a received X.25 incoming call party packet 21 and uses a matching check means to check the identifier and returns an X.25 incoming call reception call reception packet 23 to caller when the identifier is matched to establish a virtual call. The incoming call side communication processing system receiving an X.25 connection end packet 24 checks the incoming call party address extension facility to confirm the establishment of the virtual call. Thus, even when plural nodes are in existence in the system, number of subscriber lines is saved by multiplexing the X.25 virtual call into each incoming call party node.</p> |
