<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erasing of a recorded part or occurrence of at unrecorded part by regenerating a magnetic tape with a time code regenerating means when a recording switch is pressed under a recording stop mode and shifting this mode to a recording mode after the obtained time code value coincides with a value of a storage means. CONSTITUTION:When a recording key 101 is pressed under the stop mode, recording key on-information is inputted from a key input circuit 103 to a mode setting circuit 104. Thus, a command is issued by the circuit 104 to a motor control circuit 105 to travel the tape under a reproducing mode. A time code recorded on the tape is regenerated by a time code regenerating circuit 108, and this is compared with a time code data stored in a storage circuit 109 by a comparision circuit 110. When both the data are equal, a detecting signal is inputted to the circuit 104, and the command of the tape traveling under the recording mode is issued by the circuit 104 to the control circuit 105, and also a recording command is outputted to a video signal processing circuit 106. By this method, the VTR is started to operate under the recording mode.</p> |
