The ball-game racquet (10) has a profiled (12) tensioned frame (14) enclosing the strings (24,25). On the racquet's lengthwise axis preferably forming a straight line of symmetry is a handle (20) on the neck (19) of the racquet. A link point near the handle is defined by two grooves on each side of an intermediate bridge piece, with walls close together. The handle is about five times as thick as the intermediate bridge piece. ADVANTAGE - The racquet has several link points across axes parallel to the lengthwise axis.
