THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS INJECTION-MOLDED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin having excellent low-temperature impact strength, rigidity and Rockwell hardness and small linear expansion coefficient and suitable for injection molded article such as automobile bumper. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 50-75wt.% (especially 60-65wt.%) of a crystalline polypropylene with (B) 15-35wt.% (especially 20-28wt.%) of an ethylene/butene-1 copolymer rubber having a butene-1 content of 20-30wt.%, intrinsic viscosity of 1.1-2(dl/g) in xylene at 70 deg.C and a Mooney viscosity of 10-40 at 100 deg.C and (C) 5-20wt.% (especially 10-18wt.%) of talc having an average particle diameter of <=4mum. The sum of the components B and C is >=30wt.%, especially >=35wt.%.
