PURPOSE:To obtain a sorting and distributing device for paper sheets, which is capable of rapidly sorting, distributing and supplying the group of paper sheets and of being operated in an emergency. CONSTITUTION:A distribution carrier path 5 provided in the downstream side of a sorting conveyor 4 is constituted of a plurality of carrier conveyors 6. Paper sheets P supplied from the sorting conveyor are successively received and carried by these carrier conveyors. Moreover, chutes 7 are arranged respectively between the mutually adjacent carrier conveyors of the respective carrier conveyors. The paper sheets on the correspondent carrier conveyor are directed to the inside of the chute and selectively introduced thereinto, distributed and controlled. |
