<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inverter as a lighting device wherein, even when the height of a case is made low, the corner part of a transformer does not come into contact with the slope of the case and the temperature rise of the transformer can be suppressed to be low. CONSTITUTION:The width direction of a transformer 5 which has bee mounted on a board 4 is arranged and installed in parallel with a chamfered part 3a at a case 3 so that the corner part of the transformer 5 does not come into contact with the chamfered part 3a. An E-shaped core for the transformer is set at the upper part and an I-shaped core is set at the lower part; an air layer is formed between the I-shaped core and the board; the temperature rise of the core is suppressed.</p> |
