<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a communication network realizing a high speed X. 25 packet switching for which the characteristic of an ATM transmission is utilized. CONSTITUTION:A transmission terminal storage switching device 1 performs a call connection for every set of a self address-an opposite party address permitting the existence of the connection with a different opposite party at the same time in a physical layer between incoming terminal storage switching devices 2, 3 storing opposite party terminals 5, 6, 7 based on the connection request of a transmission terminal 4, sets plural of ATM virtual channel VC1, VC2 and VC3 as physical channels and sets a logic channel by the set of the self-opposite party of a X. 25 logic channel between the transmission terminal 4 and transmission terminals 5, 6, and 7. As the ATM virtual channel between different opposite party terminals is set at the same time and the logic channel of a X. 25 level between each terminal is set on it, a logic multiple communication of X. 25 between a terminal-multiple terminals in a communication network for which the ATM transmission is utilized becomes possible.</p> |
