WATER CONTENT ANALYSIS DEVICE USING SEMICONDUCTOR LASER

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable a water content within a gas to be measured highly accu rately at room temperature, a device to be compact, and measurement to be performed simply and quickly. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam is transmitted through a multiple light path gas cell 1 where a measurement gas is introduced and a cell 15 for reference which is adjusted to a pure water content by using an InGaAsP system DFB semiconductor laser 4 which oscillates at a band with a wavelength of 1.3-1.55mum at room temperature and an absorption peak strength of water content is detected by using Ge photo detectors M and R with a sensitivity at 1.3-1.55mum band at room temperature. The water content is measured by using the double wavelength differential absorption method.
