PURPOSE:To provide a synthetic fiber-treating agent enhancing a friction coefficient between the respective single filaments of synthetic yarn, improving the interlacing property and interlacing-holding property of the single filaments, improving the heat resistance and smoothness of the filaments and the smoothness between the filaments and a metal roller, reducing the deposition of tars on the surface of a heating roller, and enabling to stably operate for a long period. CONSTITUTION:A treating agent for synthetic fibers contains in an amount of >=90wt.% a mixture produced by mixing (A) 50-65wt.% of a dibasic fatty acid ester compound containing 20-50wt.% of ethylene oxide and having a mol.wt. of 600-1000, (B) 5-20wt.% of a polyether polymeric surfactant having a mol.wt. of 1000-5000, and (C) 20-40wt.% of an alkyl phenol EOA compound containing 40-60wt.% of ethylene oxide and having a mol.wt. of 350-55O. |
