2'-desoxy-isoguanosine, isoster analogues and isoguanosine derivates having the formulas (I) to (V) are disclosed, as well as a process for preparing the same from compounds having the general formulas (a) or (b) reacted with aroylisocyanates or from compounds having the general formulas (VI) to (IX) by photochemical irradiation. According to another process for preparing the same, desoxyguanosines or guanosines are persilylated, reacted with ammonia and desaminated in 2-position. These compounds are suitable as medicaments having an anti-viral activity.
