<p>PURPOSE:To surely control the feed of water without causing malfunctioning by projecting from light projection means light modulated according to code information, and feeding water when information detected by reception means agrees with the code information. CONSTITUTION:A reflection type sensor 2 is provided which detects the presence of a user 8 using light reception means 5 to detect reflected light which has been intermittently projected from light projection means 4. The light projection means 4 projects light modulated according to code information 6a set by a code setting portion 6 and when information detected by reception means 5 agrees with the code information 6a a detection signal is output from a code judging portion 7. The feed of water is controlled by a feed water control portion 3 according to the detection signal. Mistakes in detection due to external light and light projected from the reflection sensor of another toilet, etc. can thus be prevented.</p> |
