PURPOSE: A driving device of an optical scanner and a driving method thereof are provided to effectively conduct a zoom function by controlling the amplification of a driving signal according to a difference between a reference angle value and a real angle value by an optical scanner. CONSTITUTION: A driving signal generator(17) generates a driving signal. An optical scanner(11) is driven with the driving signal. A sensing unit(13) senses a driving angle of the optical scanner. A driving signal amplification controller(15) sets a reference value of the driving angles of the optical scanner according to an external input signal. The driving signal amplification controller controls the amplification of the driving signal according to a difference between a reference voltage corresponding to the predefined reference value and the voltage of the sensing signal. A reference value setting unit sets a reference value of the driving angles of the optical scanner according to an external input signal.
