CONSTITUTION:The rear wheel steering control method of a vehicle is as follows: When the rear wheel in-phase steering amount deltaR is calculated after adding a correction deltaRC to a standard in-phase steering amount deltaRB according to the running condition in the turning operation, a standard antiphase steering amount deltaGB of the rear wheels according to the handle angular velicity thetaHA of the vehicle is corrected depending on a fuzzy inference from the road surface friction coefficient mu, the inclination alpha, and the lateral acceleration G operating to the vehicle, so as to find a correction antiphase steering amount deltaG, and the rear wheels are steered depending on a rear wheel steering amount deltaobtained by adding the rear wheel in-phase steering amount deltaR and the correction antiphase steering amount deltaG.
