PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive self-adhesive tape which is based on a substrate cloth comprising woven fabric consisting of flat thermoplastic resin yarns, is resistant to thermal degradation of the yarns during extrusion lamination, and has a sufficient tensile strength in the longitudinal direction while having a tear strength low enough for cutting by hand in the transverse direction. CONSTITUTION:The title tape comprises a substrate cloth comprising woven fabric consisting of warps and wefts closs-linked to each other and made of flat polyolefin resin yarns, a polyolefin resin layer formed on one side of the cloth by extrusion lamination in such a manner that the resin penetrates into openings formed by the warps and wefts to thereby fix those threads, and a self-adhesive layer formed on the other side of the cloth. |
