PURPOSE:To remove adhesive animal cells attached to a carrier without injuring them from the carrier followed by homogeneously dispersing them in a liquid and to transplant them onto a virgin carrier. CONSTITUTION:A cell-adhered non-protein organic carrier is separated from a culture solution, and then decomposed by a hydrolase with its carrier component as substrate and dissolved in a liquid, thus dispersing the cells in the liquid. When the cells separated are in the form of flocculates, the bonds among the cells are further broken with a protease. The cells are then separated from the liquid and made to adhere to a virgin carrier followed by culture. With this method, the cells can be made to uniformly adhere to the virgin carrier and proliferated on the carrier efficiently and in high density.
|
