PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR LOW-EMISSION SPRAYING

The description relates to a process and device for the spraying of liquid single-component paints in a spray booth (10) through which a current of air is blown, with the overspray captured and removed. Here, a single-component paint with a non-volatile matter content of over 90 % wt is used and over 80 % of the overspray is captured inside the booth (10) on one or more collector surfaces (11) without wet wash-out and removed from the booth therewith. The remaining quantity of overspray is separated from the air current leaving the booth (10) by means of one or more liquid/gas separating plants (15, 16). The overspray removed from the spray booth (10) is combined with fresh paint for direct re-use without any preparation. The air current leaving the spray booth (10) is returned to the booth.
