PURPOSE:To prevent the wasteful consumption of electric power and incidental lighting by fitting a touch electrode on a push button turning a power source on or off, and connecting a spring exciting it between the electrode and a switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:A touch switch circuit is not operated even if a push button 10 and a touch electrode 12 are pushed when a push button switch 6 is set to off. When a finger is temporarily removed from the electrode 12 and again brought into contact with the electrode 12, the circuit 8 and an inverter lighting circuit 7 are operated, and a fluorescent lamp 12 is lighted. The finger is merely brought into contact with the electrode 12 to turn the lamp off. When the switch 6 is continuously kept on, the lamp can be turned on or off by only the contact with the electrode 12. When the lamp is not used over a long period, the switch 6 is pushed to turn a power source off, then the lamp is not lighted even if a cat touches the electrode 12, and the wasteful consumption of electric power can be prevented. |
