PURPOSE:To improve flexibility, also simplify a manufacture process, and easily improve accuracy, by providing a flexible part in plural conductive wires in an insulating coating part. CONSTITUTION:In a flat cable 11, a conductive beltlike plate material 14, having a carrier 15 possessing feeding holes 15a on both sides, is used, and stamping is applied to the plate material 14, providing connecting terminals 18 on both ends. Plural conductive wires 17, along the width direction of the plate material 14, are formed at a stroke in parallel, and a thin flexible part 19, having flexibility more than that of the terminals 18 on both ends, are provided on the plural wires 17 in an insulating coated part 12 formed by sticking an insulating tape 20 having a given size from both surfaces. Consequently, free bending can be obtained, the flat cable 17 is manufactured by cutting only the carrier 15 along cutting straight lines L on both sides after the tape 20 is stuck, allowing accurate manufacturing and also a simple manufacture process. |
