FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Method of recovering serviceability of a vehicle gas-oil rack shock absorber involves withdrawal of a factory gland from the shock absorber case and cleaning it from mud. At cleaning the factory gland it is processed with a means for softening and recovering its elasticity and is greased with a lubricant for installation into the case. Then the gland with a rod is installed back into the case. After installation of the factory gland into the case nitrogen is supplied under high pressure for extrusion of oil residues from the case, then, first, oil is pumped into the case, and then the working cavity is filled with nitrogen to the norm.EFFECT: provided is higher service life of the rack gas-oil shock absorber after repair and simplified repairing process of the gas-oil rack shock absorber.1 cl |
