Building facade dry cleaning by pressurised air jet - uses turbulent air jet and blasting mixt. of glass pearls, normal and mixed corundum

An abrasive blasting agent is entrained in the pressurised air jet. The turbulent air jet contains a blasting agent, i.e. a mixt. of glass pearls of 70 to 110 microns grain size, normal corundum of 44 to 74 micron grain size, and mixed corundum of 53 to 88 microns grain size. Pref. the blasting mixt. consist of 10 to 50% wt. of glass pearls, 20 to 50% wt. of normal corundum, and 20 to 50% wt. of mixed corundum. The air jet has typically a pressure of 0.5 to 6 bar. The debris and used blasting agent are evacuated, separated, and the blasting agent reused. USE/ADVANTAGE - Smooth cleaning without damage even if building facade is constructed of soft material with decoration.
