PURPOSE:To eliminate the labor for labelling with fluorescence material or isotope in an online type device for base sequence determination. CONSTITUTION:The sulfuric acid solvent of pH 1.0 is continuously flown into clad flow parts 10 at the bottom of respective migration pipes 2, so, that the clad flow of the sulfuric acid solvent is formed near the bottom outlets 12 of migration pipes 2. The bottom outlet vicinity 12 is irradiated with the light 14 near 260nm, and to take out and detect fluorescence in the direction orthogonal to that of excitation light irradiation, a lens 20 for condensing fluorescence, a interference filter 22 for selecting the fluorescence of 340-390nm out of the fluorescence condensed and taken out by the lens 20 and a photomultiplier 24 for detecting the fluorescence spectrum from the interference filter 22 are provided as a detecting system. By identifying the outputs of four photomultipliers 24 in sequence, base sequence is determined. |
