PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic radial tire by lightening its weight by reducing a tread rubber amount while preventing both load noises from increasing and controllability from degradation. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic radial tire has the weight alpha of a tread part set to 1.80X10<-3>kg/cm<2> or less per unit ground contacting area. A code reinforced layer 8 extended from the upper end of a bead filler 7 to the radially outerward side of the tire is disposed in the bead part 1 and a code angle theta of the code reinforced layer 8 to the radial direction of the tire is set to 25-80 deg.. The height RH measured from a rim base RB to the upper end in the radial direction of the tire relative to the height SH of cross section of the tire is set RH/SH=0.28-0.65 and the height FH measured from the rim base RB of the bead filler 7 to the upper end in the radial direction of the tire relative to the height SH of cross section of the tire is set to FH/SH=0.11-0.28. |
