Moulding non-woven fabric garments

A perforated mould in the shape of the garment (eg an under garment) is submerged in a fibrous (eg natural, thermoplastic, thermosetting) suspension andevacuated so as to form a non-woven fabric in the shape of the garment adhering to the outside of the mould. The mould is subsequently removed from the suspension and the fabric dired and removed from the mould. The process may be continuous by providing several moulds on an endless conveyor, and the fabric may be strengthed by bonding the fibres together by eg fusion or an adhesive (e.g. acrylic resin).
