<p>The invention aims at ameliorating brain functions to thereby effect learning capacity enhancement, mneme enhancement, and prevention and cure of senile dementia, and to provide a functional food having a brain function ameliorant effect. The invention composition comprises at least one member selected from among n-3 unsaturated fatty acids, i.e., docosahexaenoic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid and α-linolenic acid as the active ingredient and further at least one phospholipid selected from among phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylinositol (PI) and the corresponding lyso derivatives thereof.</p> |
