PURPOSE:To provide a total heat exchanging ventilator, capable of detecting the impossibility of detection of a damper position and capable of effecting the backup of switching of ventilation mode when the detection of the damper position is impossible. CONSTITUTION:A detecting signal from a limit switch LS1, detecting the position of ventilation of a damper, is latched into a control circuit M to detect the faulty operation and the like of the limit switch LS1 based on the detecting signal latched into the control circuit M. On the other hand, the position of the damper is recognized by the signal of the limit switch LS1 and, thereafter, a judged damper position is confirmed whether the position coincides with the selected ventilating mode. When it coincides, the setting of the damper position is finished but when it does not coincide, the damper is driven again. |
